One of the hardest tasks I face as a writer is finding a way
to organize the various types of writing I do and then save my words online
somewhere labeled in a meaningful way so that I can access them for quick
reference.
Where was that haiku poem I wrote, about hiding under the blankets
eating chocolate chip cookies and writing bad haiku?
What did I do with my
recipe for the pumpernickel bread bowl with the especially delicious spinach
artichoke dip I now want to serve on Superbowl Sunday?
Did I ever publish those
thoughts I had on how to assure that I get out of bed every morning with a
specific purpose in mind and a plan of action for each day?
I want to
self-publish four season books of my favorite haiku and I'm sure that I've put only
a few of my hundreds of winter poems online so far.
Why do I have thousands of
essays, poems, short stories, novels, blog posts, and more in various stages of
completion saved on my computer in a file entitled no more clearly than "WORK"?
